for Maine Maple Producers

This on-line sign up form allows Maine maple producers who plan to be open to the public on March 23, 2008 to sign up to be listed on this website and in the printed guide—a large colorful map with descriptions and detailed listings on the back. In order to be listed on the 2008 map, we needed your information the last week of December, 2007. You can still be on the website if you sign up now, and you will automatically be reminded to sign up again for next year.

For the printed map, we need the Latitude and Longitude of your location, expressed in decimal degrees. There are free sites where you can type in your 911 address and find them. Go to http://www.geo-tag.de/generator/en.html where you can either click on the map and zoom in to find your place, or type in your address in the box. Once you have zoomed in you can see your location better in the satellite map and you can drag the "map pin" to adjust it. The decimal latitude and longitude will be displayed in the boxes below. There are other free sites but this one seems to be the easiest to use.

You can have your operation listed in our general food and farm producer search too by filling out our market promotions questionnaire on line.
